Tajikistan is unlike anyplace else you’ll visit. Shahr-e-Kuhn: Old Town In Istaravshan

However, an open doorway occasionally grants a glimpse into the central courtyard adorned and furnished inevitably with roses.

Dushanbe Zoo

The Dushanbe Zoological Park or the Dushanbe Zoo is located next to the Pamir Stadium and estimates about twice the size of the stadium. The zoo founded in 1960, lies in the hub of the city on the Luchob river bank.

Dushanbe Botanical Gardens

The Botanical Gardens are the best place to escape the dust and noise of the traffic in Dushanbe. A small forest with plenty of greenery is a quiet and peaceful place for newlywed couples.

Garam Chashma

Garm-Chashma is a hot mineral spring situated at an elevation of 2,325 m above sea level. Garm-Chashma runs through the Ishkashim District of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province in Tajikistan. It is located on the western slope of the Shakhdara Range.

The spring is a few thousand years old. This is the minimum duration required for the disposition of such enormous travertine sediments. The deposits further cascade down to the Garm-Chashma River. A curved bank that is 1.5 km long, 35-45 m wide and has the bright white, yellowish and reddish brown cascade falling from a height of 7 to 35 metres lines strictly along the crest of the ridge.

Varzob Valley

Varzob Valley is the notable recreational region for Dushanbe inhabitants with numerous amusement regions and picnic spots here. The Valley is located a few km from Dushanbe – the capital of Tajikistan.

There are numerous options for an intriguing end of the week climbing and trekking activities in this valley. The Government of Tajikistan has proclaimed Varzob Valley to be a recreational and tourism zone. Development of numerous tourism foundation ventures is going on.

Climb the hilly flanking Varzob for a decent picnic or an unwinding trip in nature. The rivers slices through the stones and falls down a beautiful valley- – albeit rather limited, the waterway is best crossed by the cable car. Julander

Julander is a hot spring, high altitude resort that offers a wonderful climb behind the springs.

Jisev valley

The Jisev Valley is a beautiful briefing point of an adventurous hike. The hike begins with the suspension bridge.

Pamir Highway

The Pamir Highway is probably the second highest road on earth and it crosses the Pamir Mountains through Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. A major part of the highway lies in Tajikistan and is one of the chief tourist draw cards.

The “Roof Of The World” as it is known to the Pamiris or Bami-Dunya or the Pamir Highway is said to be the mother of all road trips. One of the world’s grandest and most magnificent adventures whether you drive it or cycle it, the Pamir Highway is surely not going to disappoint you.

The highway offers its visitors high altitude mountain passes dotted with Kyrgyz yurt camps and Pamiri settlements that are surrounded by icy mountain peaks.

Kainar Ato Spring

Ali, the descendant of Mohammed, toured this place which at this time was accommodated only by vicious serpents. When Ali came to Kainar Ato point, he prayed to God and asked for the snakes to disappear. A spring was formed in the response.

In the present day, 6 huge water pumps work at the Kainar Alto Spring that supplies water to about two-thirds of Panjikent’s population.

Kamali Khujandi Park

Based on the banks of the Zeravshan River, Kamadi Khujandi Park is a recreational park with children’s amusement park and a swimming pool for amusements.
