Kazakhstan Tour Packages

The dominant nation in Central Asia both in terms of economy and area, the entire Kazakh region is renowned for dramatic landscapes and a rich history; rich enough to rival any ancient destination. A healthy economy means it has better standards of accommodation, infrastructure, transport system, restaurants, and parks which most western tourists generally look for. The TIan Shan mountain ranges that surround it are becoming increasingly popular among travellers for hiking and trekking. These are exclusively covered in our Kazakhstan Tour Packages.

It is a huge country covering an area of 2,724,900 sq km, making it the 9th largest country by area in the world. It touches both the borders of Russia and China. The territory was inhabited since the Paleolithic and was a key constituent of the Steppe Route of Eurasia, much before the Silk Road route started operating. A visit to the cities of Astana, Qaraghandy, Aktau, Otrar, and Sauran will apparently take you back to the Stone Age.

Almaty which is the largest metropolis in the country is situated at the foothills of Trans-Ili Alatau Mountains. It's the perfect base for tourists who want an extensive extended tour of the entire Central Asian region as other "Stans" are easily reachable from here and it has the most tourist-friendly visa and immigration policies among the Central Asian nations. Furthermore, there are plenty of day trips you can undertake from Almaty, the best being the Sharyn Canyon day trip. Also in the close proximity is the Charyn National Park.

For the wildlife lovers, there are ten nature reserves and equal number of national parks scattered throughout the country accommodating rare species of plants and animals. A wildlife-focused Kazakhstan Tour Package will take you to Altyn-Emel and Kolsay Lakes National Parks which are rated among the rest, but the other closely follow.
