It is situated in Central Asia and is the heartland/geographic centre of Eurasia. Kazakhstan, neighboured by China, Russia and other Central Asian countries, such as Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and also a considerable part of its border goes through the Caspian Sea.

In separate years spring arrives from south to north over 1.5 – 2 months. When it is spring sowing in the south the northern area, is covered with snow and the blizzards blow frequently.
Its nature distinguishes with landscape diversity: mountains are natural attractions of the Central, East and South-East Kazakhstan, deserts or semi-deserts found in the South-West, and North of the republic is mainly in the steppe and forest-steppe zones.
This is the steppe lake Tenghiz in the north of Kazakhstan, which according to scientists, appeared after a huge meteorite had fallen here in prehistoric times. White swans floating over its still surf (Silvery lake) carrying themselves proudly, and flamingos walking with slow, measured steps, between a vast ocean of grain fields.
Kazakhstan Natural Phenomena :
You may listen to “concerts” of signing sands, in the environs of the resort of Ayak-Kalkan (Almaty region): here the sand dunes, being moved by the wind to produce sounds which are as loud as the blasting of a ship horn. You will get to see many natural and quite unique phenomena in Kazakhstan.
