Itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek city – Issyk Kul Lake (300 km / 5 hours).
Bishkek → Issyk Kul Lake (via Tokmok & Cholpon Ata)
09:00 am – Pick up from the agreed meeting point in Bishkek.
- Drive about 1 hour to Tokmok town and visit the Burana Tower Historical Complex (excursion duration ~1 hour). This ancient minaret and open-air museum showcase remnants of the great Silk Road.
- After the excursion, a short 15-minute drive will take us to a local Tokmok family home for a traditional lunch (included).
- Continue the journey toward Issyk Kul Lake, arriving in Cholpon Ata around 3:00–4:00 pm.
Visit the Petroglyphs Museum, an open-air gallery with ancient stone carvings dating back to the Scythian and Turkic periods (excursion ~50 minutes).
Transfer to the hotel, check-in, and relax. Dinner at the hotel (included). Overnight in Cholpon Ata hotel.
