This exciting two-day tour takes you deep into the heart of the majestic Tien Shan Mountains, where breathtaking landscapes and pristine nature await. Youâll explore the stunning Kegety Gorge with its lush greenery and mountain streams, and hike up to the crystal-clear Kol Tor Lake, hidden high in the mountains like a turquoise gem.
Surrounded by dramatic peaks and fresh alpine air, youâll enjoy peaceful walks, time for rest and photography, and even the chance to try horse riding (optional, extra charge). In the evening, relax with traditional hospitality in a guesthouse or camp, before continuing your journey the next day.

Itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek city â Kegety gorge. (90 km / 2 hours).
Pick-up in Bishkek will be arranged from a place agreed upon in advance (9:00 am). From there, we drive about 90 km to the beautiful Kegety Gorge.
Upon arrival (around 11:00 am), we begin our hike to Kol Tor Lake:
- Trail length: 7.5 km
- Duration: 3â4 hours
Elevation gain: +900 m
At the lake, youâll have time to relax, enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the alpine valley, and have some light snacks after the challenging ascent. Take in the beauty of the turquoise waters surrounded by rugged peaks. The return hike will take about 1.5â2 hours along the same 7.5 km route, with a descent of -900 m. Back at the starting point of the canyon, we transfer to a local mountain resort, where youâll be accommodated for the evening.
