Besides choosing a good location, choosing the right time to visit the location should be given equal prominence. A major tourist site in a particular month might be partially or completely different when visited after three or six months. Uzbekistan is one such country where the timing plays an important role not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of crowd density.

The month of July and August are Uzbekistan’s summer when the temperature can get upwards of 40 degrees centigrade.

Generally the months of April to June are considered ideal to make a trip to Uzbekistan either as individual or in group when the skies are pretty much cloudless and the temperature is neither too hot, nor too cold. Then in July and August, summer sets in and the temperature hit the peak in Uzbekistan. This is also the time when there’s a high influx of tourists and the sites feel a bit crowded. In the winters however, temperatures hover around freezing point and there’s a considerable drop in tourist number, hence you’ll have all the area to yourself. With that in mind, it’s up to you to decide when to visit Uzbekistan. According to people who’ve been here and from our experience, it ii recommended however that you come to Uzbekistan during spring and autumn, i.e. between April to May and September to early November. During these periods, it is typically warm and dry with clear skies. If you’re seeking isolation and need less people around you, winters are the ideal option.
