    Best Time To Visit Uzbekistan

Besides choosing a good location, choosing the right time to visit the location should be given equal prominence. A major tourist site in a particular month might be partially or completely different when visited after three or six months. Uzbekistan is one such country where the timing plays an important role not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of crowd density.

    Uzbekistan In Details

Uzbekistan is a doubly landlocked country surrounded by five countries from all sides. It has 12 provinces and one autonomous republic, Karakalpakstan. The country is one of the oldest inhabited regions of Central Asia and was settled by Iranian nomads as an oasis. Then after the opening of the Silk Road trading routes which facilitated trade between the East and the West, cities like ancient Bukhara, Khiva, and Samarkand grew in prominence and economic value. This led to the invasion of the cities multiple times by rulers of various dynasties, thus the cities were destroyed, rebuilt, and got renovated from time to time. All these factors also led to the creation of some of the magnificent architectural complexes which included mosques, madrasahs, fortresses, palaces, and mausoleums.Current day Uzbekistan boasts of a diverse topography which range from barren desert to snow-capped mountains teeming with numerous sightseeing opportunities, both artificial and natural. ## When To Visit Uzbekistan

The climates in Uzbekistan vary from month to month. The noticeable condition in different months is as follows: - - April to June

The months from April to June are generally clear skies with moderate temperature and breezing cool air. - - July to August

The month of July and August are Uzbekistan's summer when the temperature can get upwards of 40 degrees centigrade. - - September to October

The temperature eases a bit with little rain, but it's yet to get cold. - - November to March

The months from November to March are winter months of Uzbekistan when the temperature drops down to less than 10 degrees and even below freezing point in some places. Generally the months of April to June are considered ideal to make a trip to Uzbekistan either as individual or in group when the skies are pretty much cloudless and the temperature is neither too hot, nor too cold. Then in July and August, summer sets in and the temperature hit the peak in Uzbekistan. This is also the time when there's a high influx of tourists and the sites feel a bit crowded. In the winters however, temperatures hover around freezing point and there's a considerable drop in tourist number, hence you'll have all the area to yourself. With that in mind, it's up to you to decide when to visit Uzbekistan. According to people who've been here and from our experience, it ii recommended however that you come to Uzbekistan during spring and autumn, i.e. between April to May and September to early November. During these periods, it is typically warm and dry with clear skies. If you're seeking isolation and need less people around you, winters are the ideal option. If you're planning to make a trip to Uzbekistan and need further assistance beyond deciding on an ideal time, please don't hesitate to write to us at travel@minzifatravel.com to get more information.
