Altyn Arashan ("Golden Spa") is a picturesque alpine valley near Karakol, world-famous for its natural thermal hot springs and breathtaking mountain landscapes. Nestled at 2,600 meters above sea level and framed by the snow-covered peak of Palatka (5,020m), the valley features dense pine forests, rushing mountain rivers, and wooden bathhouses fed by natural hot sulfur springs. It is a favorite reward spot for trekkers coming down from Ala-Kul Lake or exploring the Tian Shan wilderness.
