    Uzbekistan Tourism

From the times of Alexander the Great to the recent rule of Soviet Union, Uzbekistan has numerous stories to tell to its visitors who come from far and wide getting attracted by the sheer number of architectural monuments that it has. Traces of the remains of the great empires like Timurid Dynasty and Mongol Dynasty is preserved meticulously in this country which not only adorn the cities but also makes up a good working ground for archaeologists.

There are more things in Uzbekistan than what a single person in a single trip would be able to cover. Therefore, we at MinzifaTravel, have seen tourists coming back again and again who just fell in love with the country and its offering. In every nook and corner, you're guaranteed to come across things that'll strike your fancy. From the vast Kyzylkum Desert to the ski resort town in the Chatkal range, Uzbekistan can cater to every category of tourists.

Most people start with a historical tour of the cities like Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand which were ideally located along the famous Silk Road route and were subject to numerous conquest, destruction, and renovation that make them a standout place in entire Central Asia. Madrasahs, mosques, forts, mausoleums, temples -- these cities are filled with these. Many of these are inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. These cities also make up for excellent cultural tour experience which Uzbekistan is rich in. Majority of the people follow Islam as their religion which was introduced by the Arab invaders. Little has changed in terms of culture and religion and same years old tradition is followed. A visit to the remote villages of Uzbekistan will lead you to the lifestyle of nomadic people who still live in yurts and graze animals for their livelihood.

Even though Uzbekistan is the most developed country in Central Asia, it is by no means a westernized industrial state. It has few number factories operting and far less number of cars running on the road. Coupled with the fact that it is a mountainous country filled with forests and woods, the atmosphere is relatively pure and calm. Thus people also come to Uzbekistan on health tourism tours to refresh their lungs and mind. Furthermore, there are many pilgrimage places like the well in inner fort of Khiva whose water is known or considered to have certain healing effects. People from far off land come here to drink that water believing that they'll get healed and feel better.

The Tien Shan mountain ranges and the Chatkal range in the Tashkent region have several mountains with an elevation ranging from 400 meters to 4,000 meters above sea level. The moutains located in higher altitudes are most of the time of the year covered with a thick layer of snow which attract trekkers and skiing zealots from around the globe who come here on an adventure tour. Numerous ski resorts have developed in such places to provide a complete all around holiday experience.
