Central Asia in first place

Central Asia

Central Asia recognized as the best tourist destination for 2016

According to Canadian tour operator G Adventures, Central Asia is the first destination where travelers should go in 2016. Central Asia tops the list of the Top 5 Tour Destinations of 2016, and there’s a reason for that. “The Land of Enchantment,” as G Adventures called it, includes five countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

According to G Adventures, this, still hidden from view, untouched part of the world, will remain in the traveler’s memory forever. Filled with domes, minarets, mosques and madrassas, getting to Central Asia is like being immersed in the atmosphere of romance of the entire Silk Road. The unique cultural heritage and innate hospitality make you forget that you are perhaps tens of thousands of kilometers away from home. At the same time, leaving this wonderful land, it is as if you have been in your native land, gained strength and are ready for new discoveries!

Uzbekistan, in particular, emphasizes “G Adventures”, is unique in its history and hypnotizing Islamic architecture. By the way, many historical buildings here are still inhabited today. So, the traveler who comes to Uzbekistan, can imagine that he was transported a few centuries back and hit one of the oldest cities of the Silk Road. The tour operator notes that, for example, in Bukhara, traders and buyers make their deals in the same ancient trading rows of the old marketplace, as they did centuries ago.

G Adventures, as a recipient of many awards, including “Best National Tour Operator,” has been recognized more than once by National Geographic Traveler magazine. In second place on the list of the top 5 destinations of 2016 from the Canadian tour operator is Japan. In third place is Northern Brazil, next is the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. and in last place is Sri Lanka.
